My bud Shawn Evans and I ended up hitting a local lake in Northeast Pennsylvania again this weekend. A group from the Pennsylvania Kayak Fishing Association (http://pkfa.org/) was planning an overnight float on the Susquehanna, but for the second time in the past month or so, we had to cancel due to high water.
The bite was a bit inconsistent, but being in kayaks, we were able to reach some shallow and weedy areas the power boats could not reach. I was also testing out the new Predator 13 kayak from Old Town. This boat is a stand-up fishing machine! I ended the day with ten fish, and Shawn and I each had 18 inch largemouth boated.
